Listen. My boy Achilles is ‘the fun parent’ who doesn’t think twice about taking their kid to Mc Donalds or letting them stay up late to watch television. He’s still a good dad, and he doesn’t let them misbehave with no consequence, but ultimately, Patroclus has to be the one to maintain a little more structure. He’s the stoic doctor dad.

Y'know that Johnathan Mulaney routine where he talks about his dad listening to them beg for Mc Donalds, and then drove through the to go line, bought a coffee for himself, then went home? That’s Pat.

As for gender treatment! I want to say that they raise their kids p gender neutral, but that isn’t totally true. They raise their kids to be kind and polite, but like.

They were raised p traditionally, like Achilles was raised to think boys should be strong and polite to women, and Pat teaches his girls to cross their legs when they wear skirts, but that’s mostly so people can’t be creepy to his babies. And, they tell their kids to act that way regardless of their gender or presentation, and to treat others with respect. If they messed up, or found fault in their parenting, they’d fix it.

And ultimately, I think they’d love and like their kids equally! Even if Achilles really wants his son to be a real masc kiddo so that he has something in common with him. He’d hope the same for a daughter or kiddo, too, tho. And Pat ultimately just wants a kid who knows they are loved.

Plus Patroclus is trans as hell, so they ultimately wouldn’t care about gender or how they present or act :v

Listen My Buddy, My Pal, I Headcanon Patroclus As The Biggest Trans. Like It Isnt. a Huge Angsty Think He Just Happens To Be Transgender.

So really fast, I headcanon both Patroclus and Achillea as non-white, so their baby would be a mix of their skin. I think they’d have the freckles Achilles would have, scattered across their cheeks and nose.

Their hair would be the several shades lighter in color than Patroclus’ and their eyes would be the same color as Achilles’. The bab looks the most like Patroclus though, and is quiet like him, interested in what Achilles makes his business but preferring to stay at Patroclus’ side.
